This page is intended to make App Intelligence practices understandable. Project-specific contracts and legal requirements may add to or replace parts of this policy.

1. Our Commitment

App Intelligence is an independent Canadian software engineering studio based in British Columbia. We aim to collect only the personal information reasonably required to operate our website, respond to inquiries, prepare project proposals, deliver services, maintain business records, and improve our digital experiences.

This policy applies to information collected through appintelligence.ca, project inquiry forms, application blueprint submissions, direct communications, and related business interactions.

2. Information We May Collect

We may collect information that you choose to provide, including your name, email address, telephone number, organization, project requirements, budget range, requested features, technical requirements, and the contents of messages or files you submit.

When you visit the website, technical and usage information may also be collected automatically. This may include browser and device information, approximate location, pages viewed, referral source, session activity, and interaction events.

3. How We Use Information

We may use information to respond to inquiries, assess project requirements, prepare estimates or application blueprints, communicate about services, deliver and support contracted work, maintain security, troubleshoot website functions, understand website usage, improve content, and satisfy legal or accounting obligations.

We do not sell personal information.

4. Google Analytics

App Intelligence uses Google Analytics 4 to understand general website traffic and interaction patterns. The standard implementation may collect information such as user and session counts, approximate geolocation, browser details, device information, pages visited, and interaction events.

Analytics information is used to understand website performance and improve content and services. We do not intentionally send names, email addresses, telephone numbers, or other directly identifying information to Google Analytics.

5. Consent and Choices

By voluntarily submitting information, you consent to its collection and use for the purposes presented at the time of submission and as described in this policy.

You can limit browser cookies through your browser settings. Blocking some technologies may affect parts of the website. You may also contact us to withdraw consent where permitted by law, subject to legal, contractual, and operational restrictions.

6. Service Providers

We may use service providers for hosting, analytics, email, cloud infrastructure, deployment, databases, security, and project delivery. These providers may process information on our behalf and may operate outside British Columbia or Canada.

Information handled outside your province or country may be subject to the laws of the jurisdiction where it is processed.

7. Retention and Safeguards

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably needed for the purpose for which it was collected, to maintain appropriate business records, or to meet legal and contractual obligations.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

8. Access and Correction

You may request access to personal information we hold about you or ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete. We may need to verify your identity before responding.

Some information may be exempt from access or correction under applicable law.

9. Children’s Information

App Intelligence services are intended primarily for businesses, organizations, and adults seeking professional software services. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the website. A parent or guardian who believes a child has provided personal information may contact us.

10. Privacy Questions and Complaints

Questions, access requests, correction requests, consent withdrawals, and privacy concerns may be sent to appintelligence.ca@gmail.com.

We will review concerns in a reasonable manner and may request additional information needed to understand or verify the request.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy when our services, website, technologies, or legal obligations change. The current version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
